                                                    21 d.
Sunday Mar. 14
A A fine day but bitter cold (in the - 50's) & impossible to see the land owing to mist from the leads behind us.
Henson & his division, Ootah, Ahwatingwah, Koolootinah, 3 sledges, got away early to the north.
Later the Dr. started on his return with Weeshakupsi, Arco, 1 sledge & 12 dogs.
I take Inughito into my igloo in place of Arco. Everyone overhauling sledges.
Late in afternoon Marvin comes swinging in, smoking like a battle ship squadron followed by Borup, Kyutah, Kudlooktoo, Kishungwah, Karko, 5 sledges in all.
[Vertically in margin:] The general estimate of our position here is 84˚ 30'.
