Sure it was tiny, but it was all Zircon had to show Russell R. that he had hunted for him. Afraid Russell R. might not see it he had a clever idea. He would leave the dead mouse where Russell R. walked barefoot to the bathroom. That idea worked out well. Russell R. noticed the slight squishy feel under his toes the second time he stepped on it. Immediately he knew it was a gift from Zircon. Russell R. thought "What a lucky guy I am to have such good mouse catching kitties!"

Then his mind turned to thoughts of what he would have for breakfast. The mouse was not worth frying, besides - his doctor wanted him to eat more oatmeal...
