The recent facial cuts may be evidence that this was the cat which fought Rusty. Remember the handful of black fur we found at the crime scene?

But what about the mean GRAY cat neighbor Mike told us about? This is not the cat he has trouble with. We will have to set the trap and try again. Will we catch the cat?

This is a big (15 - 18 lb) cat! Black, smelly and mean tempered! No, this is NOT someones pet cat! This is a wild animal. Palo Alto Animal control officers took the beast away and later returned the trap.
